EdemaWear Stockinet

EdemaWear Stockinet is lightweight, comfortable hosiery garments designed to achieve graduated compression. EdemaWear manages venous hypertension, lymphedema, and venous ulcers in addition to reducing edema and returning venous blood to the heart. The soft, safe, and effective design reduces swelling, and unlike traditional compression garments, is more comfortable and can be worn on any extremity.

The EdemaWear Difference

EdemaWear is easy to apply, breathable, lightweight, and comfortable. The Fuzzy Wale Compression design uses corduroy-like wales, up and down the extremity. These waves create zero pressure zones that “melts away” the swelling in extremities. Constructed of latex-free Lycra elastic spandex compression is provided in between each line. This design enhances lymphatic function leading to a decrease in painful inflammation.

Caring for EdemaWear

EdemaWear Care is quick and easy. Simply hand wash or machine wash cold and hang to dry. To remove blood stains, apply hydrogen peroxide. Washable and reusable, EdemaWear features a four to six month expected life. Do not use bleach.

Quick Application

EdemaWear is quick to apply and only requires four steps. First, roll EdemaWear stockinet up in your hands like you are applying a stocking. Second, Turn over the top of the EdemaWear making a 3” cuff, or turn the EdemaWear inside out. Third, cut the needed length (EdemaWear will not unravel). Finally, remove daily and reapply.

• Small (Navy Stripe): For extremity circumferences up to 18”, suitable for wrist to shoulder or foot to knee applications. Measures 33’ in length.
• Medium (Yellow Stripe): For extremity circumferences up to 30”, designed for wrist to shoulder or foot to groin applications.
• Large (Red Stripe): For extremity circumferences up to 46”, suitable for obese foot to groin applications.
