Spring Finger Extension Splint
- Ideal for finger flexion tightness and boutonniere deformities
- Contoured center pad distributes pressure evenly on the PIP joint
- Bilateral wires can be bent to change force or accommodate edema
Versatile Finger Extension Splint
Versatile and easy to use, the Spring Finger Extension Splint fits either the right or left hand. It is intended for PIP extensions of 45º or less. The splint is designed to withstand a force of 3.75" lbs. (1.4kg) when flexed 45º or more and 1.75" (653g) at full extension.
Â
Helps Extend PIP Joint
This adjustable splint is designed to assist the proximal interphalangeal joint into increased extension. The splint provides more forceful extension assistance than the Extension Finger Splint 7053. It also has a lesser extension effect on the metacarpophalangeal joint.
Â
Available in Several Sizes
Available in five sizes: AA, A, B, C, and D to provide the best fit. To determine the appropriate size, measure from palmar crease to distal finger crease. For use, simply hold the spring at the proximal and distal pads and then slide the splint on the finger so the proximal pad rests over the volar aspect of the metacarpal head and the distal pad rests at the distal interphalangeal joint (DIP).
